As a conservator based in Leipzig, I support museums, parishes and private owners in the care and preservation of their art and cultural assets. The conservation and restoration of works of art is always unique. Each object has a specific history, so the treatment must be individually tested and carefully adapted to the work of art. I have been facing this challenge as a qualified restorer since 2016.

Due to their training, restorers are often specialised in certain material or object groups. Through internships, studies, scientific traineeships and many years of practical work experience, I can offer well-founded expertise in the examination, conservation and restoration of wooden church furnishings (e.g. altars or sculptures), wooden panel paintings, canvas paintings and decorative frames. In addition, I provide restorative support for exhibitions during assembly and dismantling or as a courier escort at national and international level.
